Michael J. Murphy, Founder and President of Ironmen Consulting Group, LLC., is a retired NYPD Lieutenant Detective Commander. Michael retired in 2008 to take employment in a corporate security environment.  Michael lectures on Police Ethics at the collegiate level and is a regular panelist on the Richard French Live television news program. He has also been a technical advisor on two novels and is a graduate of Boston University's highly acclaimed Master of Criminal Justice program. He also holds a certificate in Active Shooter Awareness Training from ASIS International.
